Ben Lepley (MESci, CGeol, MIMMM) is an Environmental Consultant (ESG) with thirteen years of international exploration and mining experience. Ben transferred to the environmental, social and governance (ESG) team in 2021 having formerly specialised in mineral resource geology. As part of the ESG team, Ben works on environmental and social management along with audits and reviews of ESG studies as part of Mineral Resource and Mineral Reserve reporting. He has worked on a variety of projects for SRK, predominantly focussing on bauxite and iron, but also critical and precious metals, mainly in Europe and Africa. Ben is co-chair of the Critical Minerals Association (CMA) public perception of mining committee and regularly provides guest lectures for universities around the UK.
